Michele Kambolis, PhD (Cand.)  is a registered Child and Family Therapist and Parent Educator and a Registered Clinical Counselor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She is the founder of Chi School and the owner and clinical director of Harbourside Family Counseling Centre, as well as a mother of two.

She is the founder of Chi School, a program that teaches children tools for mindfulness and empowerment, and writes a national parenting column for Huffington Post. Her book, Generation Stressed: Play-Based Tools to Help Your Child Overcome Anxiety, has been endorsed by leading psychologists around the world. It revolutionizes the way we parent ourselves and our children.

Canada AM, Sirius Satellite Radio, Global News, CTV and many more. She is a keynote speaker at conferences and workshops around the world. Michele is also the in-house health and parenting expert for Middays With Jody on Roundhouse Radio.

Clinical Practice

Michele serves as Clinical Director of Harbourside Family Counseling Centre and Chi School providing treatment and resources for children, families and individuals in the Lower Mainland. She offers evidence-based treatment approaches for individuals, couples and families affected by a wide variety of difficulties, including mental health concerns, relationship problems, developmental disabilities and parenting concerns.

Ongoing Research and Training

Her approach is deeply influenced by the wisdom of interpersonal neurobiology and her ongoing studies with Dan Siegal and Mindsight Institute.
